Mitch Andres, a 25-year-old left-handed defender, signed with the Komets today. Andres was with Boston College Hockey for four seasons before transferring to Robert Morris University. He has completed 116 collegiate-level games with one goal and ten assists. As an NCAA defenseman, 37 penalty minutes in his career make him one of the least penalized players we’ve seen this week.

The Komets are sixth in the Conference with a 30-24-2 record this season. They will play the Cincinnati Cyclones on March 15th. The Cyclones are ninth in the conference with a 25-27-5 record.
