The Kansas City Mavericks have penned a new forward this week from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. With just a change of name, this forward continues on his title as a Maverick.
Kansas City has signed forward Nolan Sullivan from the Omaha Mavericks. Sullivan has spent the past five seasons with Omaha, racking in 171 games across those seasons. This season alone, he has spent 40 games with Omaha, earning seven goals and nine assists. Overall, Sullivan scored 27 goals and 34 assists before coming to Kansas City. Sullivan only spent one of his seasons with Omaha without a letter on his jersey, and that was his first. His remaining four seasons would consist of him sporting the “A” until his final two seasons as captain.
Sullivan brings his nearly two hundred games of experience to the dominating force that is Kansas City who has clinched their place in the Kelly Cup playoffs as number one in not just their division, but across the entire ECHL. The former Mavericks captain now moves on to another sea of Mavericks to take his career into a strong run with a team hoping to get their hands on the Kelly Cup.
