Faremouth is a young forward who made his professional debut with the Reading Royals last season. In his three games with Reading, he managed to score his first professional goal. Prior to playing professionally, Faremouth played collegiately for four seasons at Ferris State University. During his time at Ferris State, he appeared in 126 games, scoring 17 goals and adding 18 assists for 35 points. Assistant Coach Jason Binkley spent time coaching Faremouth while he was at Reading, and stated that he will be heavily utilized when it comes to faceoffs.

Ryan Richardson

Ryan Richardson joins the Gargoyles as a rookie and will be making his professional debut in the grape and gold. Prior to joining the Gargoyles, Richardson spent four seasons at Clarkson University. While at Clarkson University, Richardson played in 147 games, scoring 26 goals and adding 53 assists for 79 points. In his last season at Clarkson, the young Canadian earned the honor of becoming the team captain, a role that seemingly impressed the coaching staff in Greensboro. Richardson is also making an early push at becoming a fan favorite, not only for his on-ice talents but for his leadership and his excitement to join a new community.

“I’m really excited to get down to Greensboro and meet all of the players, staff, and fans. It’s an honor to be a part of bringing hockey back to the city, and I can’t wait to feel the energy and excitement it will bring to the community. In my conversations with Coach Burt, I was really drawn to his mentality and vision, and knew I wanted to be a part of it.”

Once again, these signings have placed an emphasis on being tough to play against and being leaders in the locker room. The Gargoyles identity is clearly being established with each signing, and much like the city of Greensboro itself, it is one of hard work and dedication.
