ECHL: Indy Fuel Announce 2024 Kelly Cup Playoff Roster

The Indy Fuel have announced their 24-man roster for the upcoming Kelly Cup Playoffs. The roster includes five active defensemen, with two on the Reserve List and one on the Playoff Eligible List, 12 forwards with two on the Reserve List, and two goaltenders. Their first game will be against the Wheeling Nailers at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum at 7:00 PM ET on Friday. Here is the active roster for the game:

Cameron Hillis, the Forward player, is leading the Fuel team this season with 61 points in 54 games, including 18 goals and 43 assists. He scored five game-winning goals and has a 1/13 goals-per-game average. The top scorer of the Fuel team is Kyle Maksimovich, another Forward player who has 26 goals, 33 assists, and a total of 59 points in 67 games. The Fuel team has a strong lineup with many players who can score at crucial moments, such as Bryan Lemos (45 points this season), Colin Bilek (43 points this season), and Andrew Bellant (40 points this season). Overall, the Fuel team has an underrated deep lineup that is well-suited for the playoffs, and they have a good chance of making it to the Kelly Cup Finals.

During the regular season, the netminding duties were shared equally between Mitchell Weeks and Zach Driscoll. Weeks had a Goals Against Average (GAA) of 2.75, while Driscoll had a GAA of 2.82. In a recent game against the Kalamazoo Wings, Driscoll made a diving stick save with a wide-open net and earned save of the week. Together, Weeks and Driscoll helped the team win 37 games and are expected to deliver a solid performance in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs against the Nailers.
