
The Indy Fuel would lose another player to overseas as forward Jarrett Lee is heading to France for the 2025-26 season. Lee will join Cergy-Pontoise (Ligue Magnus). Despite losing Lee, they would re-sign forward Owen Robinson. Indy has lost six players this summer, while signing just three so far.
Jarrett Lee Heads Overseas
Lee, 26, began the 2024-25 season with the Orlando Solar Bears where he would put seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 40 games before being dealt to the Fuel. In 15 games with Indy, he would put up two goals and seven assists for nine points. He would add a goal and two assists for three points in four games during the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Lee has spent parts of the last three seasons in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers, Cincinnati Cyclones, Orlando Solar Bears, and Indy Fuel. He’s put up 15 goals and 37 assists for 52 points in 126 career games.
Junior and College Career
Lee would spent his junior career in the NAHL and USHL. He his two seasons in the NAHL with the Minnesota Magicians, he would put up 15 goals and 27 assists for 42 points in 68 games. Lee would add a goal and four assists in five career NAHL playoff games. In his only season in the USHL, he would put up eight goals and 18 assists for 26 points in 19 games.
The Hibbing, Minnesota, native would then take the NCAA route spending two years at Northern Michigan, two years at the University of Minnesota, and his final year of eligibility at the University of St.Thomas. In his first two years of NCAA hockey with the Wildcats he would put up two goals and four assists for six points in 45 games. During his time playing in his homestate with the Golden Gophers, he would have one assist in 21 games. His final season at St.Thomas proved to be his best season as he had a goal and 10 assists for 11 points in 34 games with the Tommies.
Owen Robbinson Re-Signs With Fuel
Owen Robbinson would make his second stint in the ECHL during the 2024-25 season as he had two goals and five assists for seven points in 10 games with the Fuel. He would add a goal and two assists for three points in four games during the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Robinson had previously played in three games with the Solar Bears during the 2021-22 season. He had a goal in three games with Orlando that year.
The Orangeville, Ontario, native spent two years in the OHL before going pro. In 124 games with the Sarnia Sting, Robinson would put up 24 goals and 63 assists for 87 points. He would add six assists in five career OHL playoff games. The 25-year-old winger has spent parts of the last four seasons in USports with the University of Toronto, where he’s put up 38 goals and 53 assists for 91 points in 95 games. Last season, he would we named to the OUA West First All-Star Team, named the OUA West Most Valuable Player, and be named to the USports All-Canadiens First Team.
