The Indy Fuel have announced that they’ve re-signed goaltender Zach Driscoll for the upcoming 2023-24 ECHL season. From 2018 until 2021, Driscoll played in the NCAA with Bemidji State University. In 2021-22, before playing for the Toledo Walleye, he played with the University of North Dakota. As of 2022-23, Zach Driscoll has played for the Indy Fuel.
During his time with Bemidji State University, from 2018-19 until 2020-21, Driscoll played 88 games. In his first season with the college, the goaltender recorded a 2.32 goals-against average and a save percentage of .909 in 27 games. The following season, in 2019-20, Zach posted a .937 save percentage and a 1.63 GAA in 33 games. In his last year with Bemidji State University, in 2020-21, Zach Driscoll obtained a .922 save percentage and a GAA of 2.32 in 28 games.
In his last year in the NCAA, with the University of North Dakota, Driscoll recorded a goals-against average of 2.34 and a save percentage of .908 in 34 games. Zach’s first season in the ECHL was with the Toledo Walleye, also in 2021-22, in which he posted a SV% of .913 and a GAA of 3.70 in three games with Toledo. In the most recent ECHL season, Driscoll secured a .899 save percentage, the lowest he’s had since 2016-17, and a GAA of 3.03 in 42 games with the Fuel.
