The Norfolk Admirals have announced that they’ve signed forward Jace Isley for the 2025-26 season. Isley is a 6’2, 201lb power-forward who should fit nicely into the middle-six for the Admirals next season. He will also provide some physicality for the Admirals. He is the first new signing for the Admirals and the fifth player signed to a contract for the 2025-26 season.
Isley, 23, began last season with the Adirondack Thunder, where he put up a goal and three assists for four points in nine games. He was traded by the Utica Comets to the Hershey Bears on November 29th, but he wouldn’t see any time with the Bears. The Grand Prairie, Alberta native would spend the rest of the season with the South Carolina Stingrays. He would put up four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 41 games with the Stingrays.
“Jace is ready for a huge breakout year,” Jeff Carr said, Admirals General Manager & Head Coach. “He’s had multiple good years in the WHL and was always hard to play against in Adirondack and South Carolina. Jace will supply a sandpaper element and edge to his game, and is expected to put up points this year.”

Isley would spend his first year pro with the Adirondack Thunder and Utica Comets. He would put up six goals and 17 assists for 23 points in 55 games in Adirondack. Isley had one goal in seven games with Utica during the 2023-24 season.
