
The Norfolk Admirals have announced that they’ve re-signed rookie forward Jack O’Leary for the 2025-26 season. O’Leary, 25, joined Norfolk at the end of the regular season on an ATO before signing a contract with Norfolk once the tryout was over. He had one assist in six games. He would join the Admirals for the Kelly Cup Playoffs, scoring in Game 1 of the North Division Semifinals and finishing with a goal and two assists for three points in nine Kelly Cup Playoff games. O’Leary is the seventh forward and 10th player signed by Norfolk for the 2025-26 season.
Prior to going pro, O’Leary spent three years in the USHL. He spent his first two seasons with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, where he put 17 goals and 32 assists for 49 points in 91 games. During his second season with Cedar Rapids, he had 75 PIMs in 46 games. In six playoff games, he would put up a goal and three assists for four points. His final year in the USHL would be spent with the Lincoln Stars, where he had 11 goals and 21 assists for 32 points in 47 games. Hec

The Smithtown, NY, native would then take the NCAA route, spending four years at Cornell University. In 110 games, he would put up 22 goals and 29 assists for 51 points. O’Leary would also wear an “A” in his last two seasons with the Big Red. Cornell would win back-to-back ECAC Championships in 2024 and 2025.
