The Jacksonville Icemen have just announced their 2024 Kelly Cup Playoff Roster. Each playoff team roster consists of a maximum of 24 players—a 20-man active roster and a four-man reserve list. If a player is added to the Playoff Roster, it must be on an emergency basis, which means a team is under 15 skaters or two goaltenders; only amateur players can be signed on an emergency basis.

Goaltenders: 2

#30 Matt Vernon and #31 Joe Murcada

Defensemen: 6

#18 Garrett Cockerill, #12 Julian Kislin, #7Connor Russell, #28 Ivan Chukarov, #15 Jacob Panetta, #5 Brandon Fortunato

Forwards: 13

#51 Garrett Van Wyhe (F/D), #74 Jerry D’Amigo, #19 Matheson Iacopelli, #16 Derek Lodermeier, #11 Justin McRae,  #29 Ryan Scarfo, #13 Chris Grando #68 Oliver Nadeau, #10 Christopher Brown, #83 Brendan Harris, #45 Logan Cockerill, #20 Riley Fiddler-Schultz and #29 Craig Martin

The Icemen will again host the Florida Everblades at home for games 1 and 2 of the 7-game series this week. The Icemen will be at home Thursday, April 18th at 7 pm and Sunday, April 21st at 3 pm.

Noah Laaouan (D), Damien Giroux (F), and Michael Houser (G) are also on the playoff eligibility list but are currently on recall to the AHL organization Rochester Americans.

Nine of the men on the roster are returners from last year’s Kelly Cup Playoff run. The Jacksonville Icemen are looking to change history from the last two seasons. The Icemen, previously seen in the Kelly Cup Playoffs, lost to Florida in the first round of the 22 Kelly Cup Playoffs and the second round of the 2023 Kelly Cup Playoffs. The Icemen host the first two matchups against Florida on Thursday, April 18th, at 7 pm and on Sunday, April 21st, at 3 pm.
