
The Florida Everblades have announced that they’ve re-signed forward Josh Ho-Sang for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. Ho-Sang signed with the Everblades on March 12, 2024, and would put up two goals and 13 assists for 15 points in 11 games at the end of the regular season. He would prove to be a pivotal part of the Everblades Kelly Cup Playoff Run as he put up one goal and 17 assists for 18 points in 22 games. He would lead all skaters in assists during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. This is a massive addition for the Everblades, who became the first team in the Eastern Conference to clinch their ticket to the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The former first-round pick of the New York Islanders in the 2014 NHL draft spent three seasons in the NHL with the Islanders, putting up seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points in 53 games, with his last NHL appearance coming during the 2018-19 season. He would spend the 2019-20 season in the AHL, putting up four goals and nine assists for 13 points with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and San Antonio Rampage. Josh Ho-Sang returned to the AHL for the 2021-22 season, where he would play in 47 games with the Toronto Marlies, putting up 16 goals and 19 assists for 35 points, and then would play in five games with Canada during the 2022 Olympics, where he had three assists. He would also play in 10 combined games in the SHL and KHL during the 2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons.
