
The Worcester Railers have announced that they’ve re-signed defenseman Kabore Dunn for the 2025-26 season. Dunn,23, bounced around the league during his rookie year, spending time with the Utah Grizzlies, Fort Wayne Komets, and Worcester Railers. In 35 games, he put up a goal and four assists for five points. Ten of those games came with Worcester after being acquired from Fort Wayne. Dunn becomes the fifth defenseman and 13th player signed by the Railers for the 2025-26 season. He is the second returning defenseman for the Railers, joining Ryan Dickinson.
The Mill Bay, British Columbia, native began his junior career in the AJHL during the 2018-19 season, where he spent a season with the Fort McMurray Oil Barrons, where he had 10 goals and 20 assists for 30 points in 55 games. Dunn would be named to the AJHL All-Rookie Team as well. Dunn also saw action in four AJHL playoff games. He headed back to juniors during the 2021-22 season, where he put up a goal and 10 assists for 11 points in 29 games with the Trail Smoke Eaters. He would also play in five postseason games with the Smoke Eaters.
“As soon as I got [to Worcester], everyone took me in right under their wing,” Dunn said. “I feel like we have something special… We all fight for each other and have each other’s backs. We have something that not a lot of teams have in the league.”

Dunn would also spend four seasons at the NCAA level. He spent his first two seasons at the University of Maine, where he had two assists in just 11 games. The majority of his NCAA playing time came in his final two years at Lindenwood University. In 45 games with the Lions, he put up two goals and 17 assists for 19 points.
