ECHL: Kalamazoo Wings Forward Headed Overseas

Cody Milan of the Kalamazoo Wings is headed back overseas after spending 14 games with the K-Wings, where he recorded one goal. The 27-year-old forward has split his last two seasons between the ECHL and Romania. He has played in 148 ECHL games in his career, spending time with the Cincinnati Cyclones, Norfolk Admirals, and the K-Wings. In that time, he has put up 29 goals and 68 assists for 97 points.

The move doesn’t come as a surprise, as he hasn’t seen much ice time in Kalamazoo this season and already has 39 games played this season in Romania. Milan’s best season in the E came during the 2021-22 season with the Admirals, where he had 16 goals and 35 assists for 51 points in 60 games, which opened up the doors for him as he would play in Romania the following season.  He was one of many players who took the 2020-21 season off due to the restrictions that COVID  had on the ECHL. It is likely that Milan is headed back to play with SC Csikszereda
