
The Kalamazoo Wings have announced that they’ve signed forward Andre Ghantous for the 2025-26 season. Ghantous, 26, had 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points in 56 games last season with the Adirondack Thunder. The Glendale, California, native broke into the league at the end of the 2023-24 season, where he would put up three goals and 10 assists for 13 points in 10 games with Adirondack. He would add two goals and six assists for eight points in 14 games during the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Ghantous also made his AHL debut during the 2023-24 season as he had a goal and an assist in three games with the Utica Comets. His play earned him an AHL deal for the 2024-25 season. Kalamazoo now has three forwards and five players signed for the 2025-26 season. Ghantous is the first new face on the K-Wings roster for next season.
Prior to going pro, Ghantous would spend his junior career in the BCHL with the Trail Smoke Eaters and Penticton Vees. He spent two seasons with the Smoke Eaters, putting up 28 goals and 60 assists for 88 points in 115 games. Ghantous had five goals and 11 assists for 16 points in 25 playoff games with the Smoke Eaters. In his final season in the BCHL, he would play with the Penticton Vees. He would put up 10 goals and 19 assists for 29 points in 39 games. He would add a goal in six playoff games with the Vees

Ghantous would then take the NCAA route, spending five years at Northern Michigan University. In 170 games with the Wildcats, he would put up 53 goals and 103 assists for 156 points. He was named the WCHA Scoring Champion in 2021, where he put up 10 goals and 26 assists for 36 points in 37 games. Ghantous would be named a Hobey Baker Nominee in 2023 and 2024. He served as the team captain of the Wildcats in his final year of eligibility.
