
The Kalamazoo Wings have announced they have signed forward Cam Knuble and defenseman Robby Drazner for the 2025-26 season. With these two signings, the K-Wings now have four defenseman and nine forwards signed for the 2025-26 season.
Cam Knuble
Knuble, 25, spent his entire NCAA career at Western Michigan University, where he put up seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 113 games with the Mustangs. In his final season at Western Michigan, he would serve as the team’s assistant captain.
“Kalamazoo is a really special place to me,” Knuble said. “The city has played a huge role in my life and hockey career. I’m proud to join the Wings and to play in front of the great hockey fans in Kalamazoo.”

The Grand Rapids, Michigan, native began his career playing two games with the U.S. National Development Program’s 18U team before heading to the USHL. Knuble began his USHL career with the Des Moines Buccaneers, putting up a goal and an assist before being traded to the Muskegon Lumberjacks. He would spend the rest of his junior career with the Lumberjacks, putting up seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 98 games. Knuble also played in six USHL playoff games with the Lumberjacks.
The Knuble family has hockey running through its veins, with Cam’s younger brother Cole being drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2023 and his father, Mike, having played over 1,000 games in the NHL.
Robby Drazner
Drazner, 25, had five goals and nine assists for 14 points in 42 games in his last year of eligibility and first season with the Broncos. The Buffalo Grove, Illinois, native spent his first four years in the NCAA at Miami University (Ohio). In 113 games with the Redhawks, he would put up six goals and eight assists for 14 points.
“I’m so excited to be a part of the K-Wings organization and to stay in Kalamazoo, especially coming over from Western Michigan,” Drazner said. “I can’t wait to play in front of this fanbase and start my pro career with such a great organization!”

Prior to playing in the NCAA, Drazner spent two seasons in the BCHL with the Nanaimo Clippers. In 115 games with the Clippers, he would put up nine goals and 45 assists for 54 points. He would also see action in eight games during the BCHL Playoffs.
