The Kansas City Mavericks have announced that they have re-signed goaltender Dillon Kelley for the 2024-25 ECHL season.
Collegiate Career
Dillon Kelley started his collegiate career in the 2014-15 season playing Division III hockey at Adrian College. He spent four seasons playing at Adrian, getting to play in 24 games with 1122 minutes on ice, where he had a record of 16-2-0 with one shutout. He faced 422 shots, making 390 saves and allowing 32 goals for a save percentage of .924 and a goals-against average of 1.71. While at Adrian, Kelley and his team were the NCAA III Champions of the NCHA in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
Professional Career
After completing his collegiate career, Kelley signed in the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals to finish off the 2017-18 season. Since then, Kelley has spent time playing in the FPHL, SPHL, ECHL, and AHL.
In the FPHL, Kelley spent time with the Danbury Hat Tricks and Elmira Enforcers. He played in 31 FPHL games with 1761 minutes on ice with a record of 16-8-0 with one shutout. He faced 1139 shots where he had 1039 saves and 100 goals against for a save percentage of .912 and a goals-against average of 3.41.
Kelley has spent four seasons in the SPHL where he played in 51 games and had a record of 15-25-0 with three shutouts. He played for the Fayetteville Marksmen, Peoria Rivermen, and Macon Mayhem. In his 2687 minutes on ice, Kelley faced 1449 shots, making 1306 saves, and allowed 143 goals for a save percentage of .901 with a 3.19 goals against average.

Kelley played four games in the AHL with the Henderson Silver Knights and put together a record of 1-3-0. In his 223 minutes on ice, Kelley faced 108 shots, making 93 saves and allowing 15 goals for a save percentage of .861 and a goals-against average of 4.03.
Kelley has spent five seasons in the ECHL, splitting his time between the Adirondack Thunder, Norfolk Admirals, Kansas City Mavericks, and Rapid City Rush. He has played in 53 games and has a record of 32-10-2. In his 2649 minutes on ice, Kelley has faced 1302 shots, made 1170 saves, and allowed 132 goals, for a save percentage of .899 and a goals-against average of 2.99.
In his three seasons with the Mavericks, Kelley has played in 36 games where he has a record of 23-5-2. He has played 1869 minutes where he has faced 880 shots, allowing 89 goals, and has made 791 saves for a goals-against average of 2.86 and a .899 save percentage. Kelley played 21 games for the Mavericks in the 2023-24 season, where he had a record of 16-2-1. In his 1147 minutes between the pipes, Kelley had a goals-against average of 2.56 and a save percentage of .904 after facing 513 shots, where he made 464 saves and allowed 49 goals. The 2024-25 season will be Kelley’s fourth season with the Mavericks.
