The Kansas City Mavericks have just announced that they Re-signed Nate Knoepke for the third year in a row.
“Nate was a core component of our defensemen last season. He is a smooth-skating defensemen with the ability to make plays and push the pace. Last year, he earned two AHL call-ups, and we believe Nate will take another step forward this season, making our defensemen even stronger.”

This will be Knoepke’s third season back on the ice for the Mavericks. Before he signed with the Mavericks for the first time in 2022 he played in the NCAA with the University of Nebraska-Omaha for four years and his last two years there he wore the “A”. In his entire college career he played 136 games and earned a total of 28 points. In the past two years that he has been with the Mavericks he scored eight goals and has a total of twenty assists and two AHL call-ups. He was called up to the Hartford Wolf pack and the Rochester Americans. He would end up playing four games with the Rochester Americans. In the past two years he’s been playing with the Mavericks he only has forty-six minutes in the Penalty Box. It’s also very important to add that in the 61 games he earned 18 points and in playoffs he earned 6 points.
