
The Kansas City Mavericks have announced that they have signed 5’10 forward Jack Randl for the 2025-26 season.
Junior and Collegiate Career
Jack Randl started his junior career in the USHL, where he played for the Omaha Lancers, serving as an alternate captain in his second season. He then spent some time with the USNTDP U18 Team, playing in four games. After two seasons in the USHL, Randl started his collegiate career playing Division I hockey at the University of Michigan. After one season with the Wolverines, Randl returned to the USHL for one season, where he captained the Lancers. In 158 USHL games, Randl registered 41 goals and 59 assists for 100 points with 182 penalty minutes and a -3.
After completing his junior career, Randl returned to college hockey but joined the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where he spent the final four seasons of his collegiate career. In his five collegiate seasons, Randl played in 160 games where he had 45 goals and 49 assists for 94 points with 66 penalty minutes and a +13.
Professional Career
Randl then began his professional career, signing with the AHL’s Bridgeport Islanders for the 2023-24 season. He then split the 2024-25 season between the Islanders and Worcester Railers in the ECHL. In 31 AHL games, Randl registered one goal and five assists with 17 penalty minutes and a -9. In the ECHL, Randl has played in 19 games, where he has six goals and six assists for 12 points with six penalty minutes and a +3.
During his short time in the ECHL, Jack Randl has started to find a lot of success. He has continued to develop his offensive game, helping him find many ways to score. Randl is a player who may get some time up in the AHL throughout the season as well.
