ECHL: Kyle Maksimovich Named Player Of The Month

The ECHL has named Indy Fuel forward Kyle Maksimovich as the Player of The Month for February. During the month of February, Maksimovich had five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in 12 games. In his rookie season, the 25-year-old winger has put up 18 goals and 25 assists for 43 points in 48 games with Indy this season; he is second on the team in both goals, assists, and points. Maksimovich had two goals and four assists for six points during the 2022-23 campaign. He has 14 points in his last ten games, putting up five goals and nine assists.

Prior to joining the Fuel, Maksimovich spent four years in Usports with the University of Prince Edward Island, where he put up 37 goals and 50 assists for 87 points in 78 games. He would also spend five seasons in the OHL, where he put up 115 goals and 191 assists for 306 points in 320 games. As he spent time with the Erie Otters and Ottawa 67’s, he would win an OHL Championship with the Otters in 2017.
