ECHL: Logan Britt Joins Orlando Solar Bears Blue Line

The Orlando Solar Bears have bolstered their defensive core, announcing the signing of 6’2” defenseman Logan Britt for the 2025-26 ECHL season.

Proven Pro Experience

Logan Britt split his 2024-25 season with the Reading Royals, appearing in 49 regular-season games where he posted three goals and nine assists for 12 points, along with eight penalty minutes and a +4 rating. He also skated in four playoff games. The previous year, he broke into the ECHL with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, tallying one assist in four regular-season appearances and adding one assist in five playoff games.

Collegiate Career

Before turning pro, Britt put together a steady collegiate career across three programs. He began at Quinnipiac University in 2019, playing two seasons and earning a USHL Clark Cup Championship prior to his NCAA debut. He then spent two years at Sacred Heart University, recording 5 goals and 28 assists for 33 points in 74 games, before transferring to the University of North Dakota for his graduate season. As a Fighting Hawk in 2023-24, Britt logged seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 40 games, finishing with a +13 rating.

What He Brings to Orlando

A native of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Britt combines size, mobility, and vision from the back end. Known for his ability to make smart outlet passes and contribute offensively when the opportunity presents itself, he also brings a poised defensive presence. His USHL championship pedigree and NCAA experience add valuable depth and leadership to Orlando’s defensive unit.
