ECHL: Logan Will Set to Make Pro Debut with Florida Everblades

The Florida Everblades have added another promising name to their 2025-26 roster, signing forward Logan Will to an ECHL contract. The Ames, Iowa native arrives in Southwest Florida fresh off a five-year NCAA career, split between Colorado College and Providence College.

Logan Will, 24, brings a strong two-way presence and leadership experience to the Everblades’ forward group. The 5’11”, 185-pound left-shot forward served as team captain at Colorado College for two seasons before transferring to Providence for his graduate year. In 37 games with the Friars in 2024-25, he tallied 24 points (8G, 16A) and posted a +10 rating.

A Steady Climb Through the NCAA Ranks

Across 162 collegiate games, Will recorded 76 points (29G, 47A), racked up just 56 penalty minutes, and maintained a reputation as a consistent and responsible player at both ends of the ice. His breakout year came in 2021-22, where he recorded 18 points in 32 games for Colorado College. He followed that with another 18-point season in 2023-24 while wearing the “C” for a second straight year.

Will’s decision to spend his final season with Providence gave him exposure to Hockey East competition, and he didn’t miss a beat—contributing in all situations and stepping up in key moments. The transfer added polish to his game and prepared him for the professional ranks.

Looking Ahead

The Everblades continue to build a competitive and versatile roster ahead of their season opener on Friday, October 17. They will travel to the Kia Center to take on the Orlando Solar Bears at 7:00 PM EDT. Will’s signing adds depth and maturity to the Florida locker room, and fans can expect him to bring energy, discipline, and a team-first mindset in his first professional campaign.
