On February 20th, Maine Mariners’ forward Curtis Hall was recalled from his loan from AHL affiliate the Providence Bruins. The Chagrin Falls, OH native stands at 6’4” and was drafted 119th by the Boston Bruins in 2018. So far this season, Hall has played a total of 11 games for the Providence Bruins. In these, he’s earned 6 points from 2 goals and 4 assists. Hall has been with the Mariners since January 3rd, and he also made an appearance in Maine this season for almost a week back in October of 2023. In 18 games this season for Maine, Hall has racked up a total of 15 points from 8 goals and 7 assists.
Prior to playing within the Bruins organization, Hall played two years at Yale University from 2018 to 2020. In his first year, he had 11 points in 24 games, versus his second year, where he earned 27 points in 28 games. Hall made his debut with the Providence Bruins in 2020. It doesn’t seem as though he was a standout player in the beginning of his AHL career. In the 2020-2021 season, he had 1 point in 13 games. In the 2021-2022 season, he had only 5 points in 52 games. He also played in 2 playoff games for the P Bruins that season, but he was not able to grab any points. The 2022-2023 season is when Hall first played up in Portland with the Mariners. During this season, he had 5 points in 8 games and 6 points in 6 playoff games with the Mariners. With Providence that season, he had only 4 points in 37 games.
Hall seems to have proved himself and his skill with the Mariners and has earned his call-up to Providence. The P Bruins next game is Friday the 23rd in Providence against the Cleveland Monsters.
