ECHL: Mitchell Weeks of Indy Fuel Named ECHL Goalie Of The Week

The ECHL has named Mitchell Weeks of the Indy Fuel this week’s Goaltender of the Week. Over the past week, the Ontario goaltender won both his appearances this week against the Iowa Heartlanders. He stopped 46 of 48 shots on Wednesday and then stopped 29 of 30 shots on Friday Night.

Weeks has spent the last two years bouncing between the Fuel and the Rockford Ice Hogs and is currently on an AHL deal with the Ice Hogs. This season he has gone 8-5-4 with a 2.87 GAA, .900 SV%, and two shutouts. In Rockford, he’s gone 3-2 with 2.80 GAA, 8.92 SV%, and one shutout. He went 15-5-1 with a 2.35 GAA, .915SV%, and two shutouts with Indy last year.
