The Norfolk Admirals have announced that they’ve re-signed defenseman Connor Fedorek for the 2025-26 season. Fedorek, 26, had four goals and 14 assists for 18 points in 67 games during his first full season in Norfolk. He led the Admirals in PIMs with 95. He would add a goal and an assist in eight games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Fedorek is the third defenseman and 11th player to sign with the Admirals for the 2025-26 season.

The Bethel, Park, Pennsylvania, native is entering his third season in the league as he’s spent time with the Kalamazoo Wings, Reading Royals, Indy Fuel, and Norfolk Admirals. He’s put up nine goals and 30 assists for 39 points in 122 ECHL games. The left-handed shooting defenseman had two assists in seven games during the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs with Norfolk. Fedorek also made a brief stop in the SPHL during the 2023-24 season. He put up three assists in six games with the Marksmen.

“Connor has been a simple defenseman willing to play in all parts of the game and have an edge,” said Jeff Carr, Admirals General Manager & Head Coach. “He had a good playoff performance and started coming into his own with added offense toward the end of the season. He will be looked upon as a leader going into the year.”

Prior to going pro, Fedorek spent four seasons at the NCAA level. He spent his three years at Ferris State University, where he had a goal and seven assists for eight points in 67 games. Fedorek spent his last year in the NCAA with Utica University, where he had a breakout year, putting up four goals and 21 assists for 25 points in 29 games with the Pioneers. The Pioneers would go on to win the UCHC Championship in 2023, which was Fedorek’s only year with the team.
