The Orlando Solar Bears have announced their revised Schedule along with the team’s promotional schedule. This comes about a month after the NBA’s Orlando Magic released their schedule, as changes had to be made to the Bears schedule due to the Magic having Priority at the Kia Center. The Solar Bears will drop the puck at home against the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 7pm EDT.
The first change is November 4 vs the Ghost Pirates, that game was originally scheduled for November 15. The game that was originally scheduled for January 19 against the Florida Everblades has been moved to Veteran’s day at 7pm. Originally scheduled for November 15, the game against the Ghost Pirates has been moved to the following Sunday on the 17th. The two-game series against the Atlanta Gladiators on March 21st and 22nd has been moved into separate games. Another Atlanta game that was rescheduled is the match originally set for November 16. It will now occur on November 19 at 10:30 AM, and will be one of two school day games for Atlanta. The two-game series will be played Monday January 20 and Monday, February 17, with both puck drops at noon. The November 27th game against the Ghost Pirates will take place a day before at 7pm.
The Bears are set to face off against the South Carolina Stingrays on December 1, moving the game from its original date of November 30. The Bears’ previously scheduled match against the Stingrays on February 8 has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 22 at 6 PM. This game will also feature the club’s annual Teddy Bear Toss and Ugly Sweater Night. The November 3rd game against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits will now take place on Tuesday, January 7 at 7pm. The Icemen will have a new two-game-set with the Solar Bears on Sunday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 28th. Other revised dates include Tuesday, February 4 against the Stingrays at 7 PM, February 11 against Jacksonville at 7 PM, and Thursday, February 20 against Jacksonville.
The last changes of the season for March and April will be March 3 at 7pm vs the Stingrays, Sunday March 9 vs Greenville at 3pm, Saturday March 15th vs Florida at 7pm, and Sunday April 6 vs Savannah at 6pm.

The Bears are getting their roster ready as they have signed a couple of returning players this week, as Jesse Jacques and Jimmy Mazza have been announced this week for Orlando. Along with those two players the preseason roster sits at about 16 players. With training camp starting soon, it will be interesting to see who come to Orlando from the Tampa Bay Lightning Organization.
