ECHL: Player Of The Week (11/18-11/24/2024): Ross Armour

On November 26th, 2024, ECHL announced Inglasco’s Player Of The Week was Savannah Ghost Pirates Forward Ross Armour.

In the span of two games last week, Armour found himself as a scoring machine, netting three goals with three assists. During the 6-3 win over the Adirondack Thunder, Armour scored four of those six points. He added a goal and an assist during Saturday’s battle with Greenville.

“Ross earns what he gets. He’s a very trustworthy player for me in all situations: power play, penalty kill, 5-on-5. It’s very nice to see him get rewarded offensively; we’re all very happy for him.”

During the course of Armour’s career, he has dressed in 74 ECHL games for the Ghost Pirates and has accumulated 19 goals with 41 assists. Before turning professional, Armour completed five years at Bemidji State University. He dressed in 159 games and tallied 31 goals and 36 assists. During his fifth year, Armour served as Captain of the team.

In the 2018-2019 season, Armour was named twice to the WCHA Rookie of the Week (Dec. 17 & Jan. 21). In the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons, He was named to the WCHA All-Academic Team. In his senior year and fifth year, Armour was named to the CCHA All-Academic Team. Armour was a marketing communications major at Bemidji State University.
