The Rapid City Rush have made some roster moves prior to their series against the Idaho Steelheads.

Rapid City Rush announced that defenseman Charles Martin has been reassigned to the team from the Calgary Wranglers in the AHL. In his short time in Calgary, Martin did not play in any games. Last season with the Rush, Martin played in 42 games where he had three goals and 21 assists for 24 points with 22 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +5.

The Rush also announced that they have signed forward Luke Mylymok from Niagara University. Luke is the younger brother of Rush forward Connor Mylymok. Luke is coming to the Rush after playing Division I hockey at Niagara University and was playing Division I hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth the three seasons prior. In his two seasons at Niagara, Luke played in 48 games where he had ten goals and eight assists for 18 points. He had 22 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -19. In his five collegiate seasons combined, Luke played in 101 games where he had 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points. He had 58 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -23. Mylymok may not play this week against Idaho as the Rush placed him on reserve.

The Rapid City Rush will be back in action on the road against the Idaho Steelheads on Wednesday, December 18th, Friday, December 20th, and Saturday, December 21st. Puck drop will be at 7:10 pm MT all three nights.
