ECHL: Reading Royals Acquire Logan Britt In Three-Way Trade

The Reading Royals announced on August 28th, 2024 that they completed a three-way trade.

Reading acquired defenseman Logan Britt and Future Considerations from Greenville Swamp Rabbits. In return forward Devon Paliani was sent to the Savannah Ghost Pirates. Savannah Ghost Pirates exchanged forward Brent Pedersen. The Royals then flipped Pedersen to Greenville for Logan Britt.

Britt will join Reading for his first full professional season. He signed with Greenville on April 5th, 2024 after his college career out of the University of North Dakota. During his time with Greenville, Britt accumulated one point and four PIMS. During the five-game postseason run, Britt gathered an assist and two PIMS.

Britt is 6’2, 190 pounds, and played in 171 NCAA games. He played for Quinnipiac University from 2019-2021, Sacred Heart University from 2021-2023, and the University of North Dakota in the 2023-2024 season. During his NCAA career, he acquired 54 points with 15 goals, 39 assists, and 88 PIMS. In the 2021-2022 season, Britt was selected to the NCAA Atlantic Hockey Association’s Second All-Conference Team in 2021-22 with Sacred Heart University-
