The Reading Royals have announced that they’ve signed rookie defenseman Jack Page for the 2025-26 season. Page, 23, is coming off his only full season at the NCAA level, as he put up two assists in 23 games with Boston University after not playing during their 2023-24 season. The West Chester, Pennsylvania native played in just five games in his first two seasons with the Terriers. Page attended Development Camp last year with the Philadelphia Flyers. He is the second defenseman, along with Nick Carabin, to sign with the Royals for the 2025-26 season. The Royals now have eight players signed for the 2025-26 season. It will be interesting to see how the 6’4 defenseman adjusts to the ECHL level after only one full season in the NCAA.
Prior to playing in the NCAA, Jack Page spent parts of two seasons in the NAHL and two seasons in the NCDC. He would play in just four games in the NAHL with the Jamestown Rebels and failed to find the scoresheet. The majority of his junior playing career would come in the NCDC with the New Jersey Rebels, where he would put up five goals and 27 assists for 32 points in 57 games. He would add three assists in four games during the 2021 NCDC playoffs. During his time at Bayard Rustin High School, he would put up five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 33 games. The Golden Knights won two Flyers A Cup Championships in 2017 and 2019.
