Tonight’s Reading Royals vs Norfolk Admirals game at Norfolk Scope has been suspended due to ice issues. The game has been rescheduled for April 2nd at 7:05. The news comes just under two hours after Wednesday Night’s expected 7 pm puck drop. These two teams are slated to face each other once more this season on Wednesday, April 9th, in Norfolk. This was expected to be Norfolk’s first home game since March 8th. Norfolk is slated to play at home against the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Friday Night.

This is an important game for both teams as the Admirals came into tonight sitting in 3rd place in the North and the Royals in fifth place, just two points behind the Worcester Railers for the fourth and final playoff spot in the North Division. The Admirals are 5-2-0-1 this season against the Royals. Norfolk does have one game in hand on the Royals.
