
The Indy Fuel have announced that they’ve signed forward Sahil Panwar for the 2025-26 season. Panwar, 23, spent the majority of last season in the AHL with the Chicago Wolves, where he had two goals and four assists for six points in 42 games. He also had a goal and two assists for three points in 15 games with the Bloomington Bison. This is a solid signing for Indy as they add a top-six forward to their roster. Panwar is the 10th forward and 15th to sign with the Fuel for the 2025-26 season.
In his rookie year, Panwar put up 22 goals and 32 assists for 54 points in 64 games with the Cincinnati Cyclones. He also saw five games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, where he had a goal in five games.
Prior to going pro, the Mississauga, Ontario, native spent four years in the OHL. In his first two seasons with the London Knights, he would put up six goals and five assists for 11 points in 74 games. Panwar found his game during the 2021-22 season with the Flint Firebirds, where he put up 17 goals and 27 assists for 44 points in 57 games. He would put up four goals and three assists for seven points in 19 playoff games. In his final year in the OHL, he had 31 goals and 38 assists for 69 points in 68 games while playing with the Peterborough Petes and Hamilton Bulldogs. He would put up a goal and two assists for three points in four playoff games with the Bulldogs.
