The Savannah Ghost Pirates have added right-handed Forward Nolan Welsh to their roster. Welsh, 24, is from Whistler, B.C., and attended Long Island University, where he played 109 collegiate games, scoring 19 goals, 32 assists, and a career total of only 48 penalty minutes.

Nolan’s strong skating style and shooting skills will allow him to adapt and go far with the Ghost Pirates. He has shown he’s a team player and willing to do what it takes to help his team be successful on and off the ice.

Nolan previously played for the BCHL’s Prince George Spruce Kings, achieving a record of 14 goals and 25 assists in his last season with them. At 19, Nolan won the Doyle Cup with two goals and one assist. He also played in the RBC Cup that same year, scoring two of the three goals for his team in that game.
