ECHL: Savannah Ghost Pirates Transactions | 04/05/2024

Savannah announced Friday that they have released T.J. Lloyd from his Tryout Contract and that he is eligible for waivers/ waiver claims. Lloyd, a Defenseman, joined the Ghost Pirates on March 19th. He has played four games and had two penalty minutes. Lloyd played 142 collegiate games, scoring ten goals, 63 assists, and accumulating 101 penalty minutes.

Savannah has signed Ryan Nicholson, a 26-year-old lefthanded NCAA Defenseman, to the active roster. Nicholson has played solely with Rochester Institute of Technology, participating in 161 collegiate games with five goals, 29 assists, and 121 penalty minutes. 

Savannah claimed Pito Walton off of waivers from the Florida Everblades. Pito joined the Everblades for one game against the Jacksonville Icemen. A 24-year-old right-handed defenseman, Pito has played in 124 Collegiate games, scoring 17 goals, making 38 assists, and taking 66 penalty minutes.

Savannah’s moves place Keltie Jeri-Leon and Nolan Valeau on reserve. Jeri-Leon has played 32 games, scored six goals, and made 15 assists since joining the Ghost Pirates in January of this season. Nolan has played 56 games this season, scored five goals, and made 26 assists. 

Savannah takes on South Carolina Stingrays in Charleston for the final time in the 23-24 season 4/5/24 at 7 pm.
