
The Rapid City Rush are back at home this week to take on the Idaho Steelheads. The Rush come into the series with their longest win streak since joining the ECHL, currently on a nine-game win streak. They are also on a ten-game point streak.
Last Week
Last week, the Rapid City Rush were on the road where they took on the Utah Grizzlies in a three-game series. The Rush were able to come out victorious in all three games, winning by scores of 5-3, 3-2, and 5-2.
The Idaho Steelheads were at home last week, where they faced off against the Wichita Thunder in a two-game series. The Steelheads ended with a split after losing the first game 5-3 and then winning the second game 5-4 in overtime.

The Rush and Steelheads have met 11 times this season, with the Rush leading the series 6-3-2-0. Rapid City is currently sixth in the Mountain Division, while Idaho sits ten points ahead of them in fifth.
The Rapid City Rush enter this series with a home record of 11-9-1-3 and an overall record of 21-22-5-3. Players to Watch
The player to watch on the Steelheads is defenseman Matt Register. Register is third on the Steelheads in points and leads the team in assists. This season against the Rush, Register has two goals and ten assists for 12 points.
The player to watch for the Rush is forward Blake Bennett, who was just recently named the ECHL Player of the Week. Bennett had four goals and two assists for six points in three games this past weekend. He had 14 shots and a hat trick as well.
The Rush and Steelheads will start their series on Wednesday, February 26th. After a day off in between, they will continue the series on Friday, February 28th, before wrapping it up with Military Appreciation Night on March 1st. Puck drop will be at 7:05 pm MT all three nights.
