Last Week
Last week, the Rapid City Rush and Allen Americans faced off in Rapid City, where the Americans were swept. In the first game, the two teams went to a shootout, which was Allen’s first of the season. Rapid City managed to win the shootout, earning their first shootout victory of the season after losing their previous three shootouts. In the second game, the Rush took an early three-goal lead in the first period and then scored three more in the first 2:43 of the second period, with a total of five goals in the second period, leading to an 8-4 win over the Americans.

This season, Wagner has played in 39 games with the Rush, tallying 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points, along with 30 penalty minutes and a -5 rating. Wagner leads the Rush in goals, assists, and points this season.
The Rush and Americans will start their series on Wednesday, January 29th. The two teams will have a day off before resuming the series on Friday, January 31st, and then wrapping up the series on Saturday, February 1st. Puck drop will be at 6:10 pm MT on all three nights.
