The Orlando Solar Bears have signed former Grizzlies D-Man, Robbie Stucker onto a standard player contract for the 2024-2025 ECHL season. This finalizes the trade that took place when Utah obtained forward Nathan Burke in October of 2023. Stucker joins Orlando after playing 24 games with the Utah Grizzlies last season. In addition to having time with the Grizzlies, he played 25 games last season with the Iowa Heartlanders.

Last season in the 49 games played, Stucker didn’t score any goals, however he did tally 20 assists; 11 with Iowa and nine with Utah. In the 2022-2023 season, Stucker finished college at the University of Vermont, he then went on to play his first pro games with the South Carolina Stingrays, where in the 10 games he played, he scored a goal and six assists. The St. Paul native played five years of collegiate hockey where he played the 2018-2021 seasons with the University of Minnesota and the 2021-23 seasons at the University of Vermont.

The defenseman got an extra year of college, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. During his time playing at the NCAA level, Stucker scored nine goals while adding 36 assists for 45 points in 146 games played. In the 2021-21 Season, Stucker was part of the B1G championship, as well as winning the USHL Clark Cup in the 2017-2018 season, where he scored two goals and eight assists in 14 playoff games with the Fargo Force.
