ECHL: South Carolina Stingrays Newest Signing

The South Carolina Stingrays signed a new player, Sean Ross, on a standard playing contract for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season. Ross is an Ontario native and has spent the past five seasons playing in USports. The past five seasons with Ontario Tech University, his second year playing for them was cut short when the pandemic hit. He has played a total of 86 games in USports. He has had 10 goals, 17 assists, and 37 points in 86 games. He has a total of 22 penalty minutes this season alone and a total of 64 penalty minutes in the past five seasons he’s been playing in USports. The Ontario native was assistant captain in the 2021-2022 season for Ontario Tech University and has been captain for Ontario Tech University in the 2022-2023 season and for the current season. With South Carolina Signing the Ontario Native, it makes it South Carolina’s only signing for the month of February. He will be making his first pro debut this weekend when South Carolina plays the Florida Everblades for a three-game series.
