Welcome to this week’s South Division recap! We’ve got all the latest updates on your favorite teams in the South, including recent game results, player transactions, and current standings. Let’s dive into the highlights and see how each team is performing.

South Division Standings

Atlanta Gladiators

Jeremy Hanzel has been a key playmaker with five assists in his last six games. Last week, Atlanta defeated Greenville 4-2 on Thursday, lost to Savannah 4-3 in overtime on Sunday, and lost to Orlando 2-1 on Monday. The Gladiators had a season-high 52 shots on goal in that game Sunday at Savannah. They will play at Orlando again on Wednesday, and face South Carolina on Saturday and Greenville on Sunday.

  • February 12: Simon Boyko (F) was traded from Rapid City.
  • February 13: Chad Nychuk (D) was loaned from Milwaukee (AHL).
  • February 13: Dysen Skinner (G) was signed to an SPC.

Last week, Florida won against Indy 6-3 on Wednesday, 7-3 on Friday, and 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday. They will host Tahoe on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Last week, South Carolina defeated Savannah 5-3 on Thursday, Wheeling 3-1 on Saturday, and Jacksonville 5-4 in overtime on Sunday. The Stingrays will host Worcester on Wednesday and Friday, Greenville on Friday, and Atlanta on Saturday.
