ECHL: Spencer Asuchak Returns For 13th Season with Americans

The Allen Americans have announced that they have re-signed Spencer Asuchak for the 2024-25 season, which will be his 13th season with the Americans. Asuchak returns to Allen for his 13th season in the ECHL after putting up five goals and five assists for 10 points with Allen last season while also putting up two goals in 11 games with SC Csikszereda. The 32-year-old forward has 134 goals and 192 assists for 326 points in 448 games, while 445 of those games came with Allen. He currently holds the franchise record for games played (445), goals (134), and PIMS (514). Asuchak has added 24 goals and 28 assists for 52 points in 82 career Kelly Cup Playoff Games. He won back-to-back Kelly Cup Championships with the Americans in 2015 and 2016. The Fort St. John, BC native has played in 64 AHL games with the Providence Bruins, Worcester Sharks, Chicago Wolves, San Jose Barracuda, and Charlotte Checkers, putting up five goals and five assists for 10 points.

Prior to going pro, Asuchak spent four years in the WHL with the Tri-City Americans and Prince George Cougars, putting up 49 goals and 46 assists for 95 points in 224 games. He would also spend a year at Mount Royal University, where he put up two goals and four assists for six points in 10 games.
