ECHL: Swamp Rabbits Re-Sign LA Grissom

Jake Farmer | ITR

Another re-signing by Greenville today as the Swamp Rabbits announce LA Grissom to the 2023-2024 season. Grissom, 27, is a solid defenseman who’s played only one season in the ECHL. Before getting traded to Greenville, Grissom played 28 games for the Allen Americans, scoring two goals and adding one assist.

During his time in Greenville, Grissom made a name for himself in his defensive capabilities, playing 20 games and adding a goal and an assist; his forechecking is a great ability that he shows on the ice. The 6’4 Detroit native weighs over 220 pounds. Although he didn’t play a single game during the 22-23 playoffs, LA Grissom is a solid defenseman that will, without a doubt, make a name for himself during the 2023-24 season as an elite defensive zone protector.
