ECHL: Thomas Milic Name Goaltender of The Month | March 2025

The ECHL has named Norfolk Admirals goaltender Thomas Milic the ECHL Goaltender of the Month for March 2025. In 11 games during March, Mlic posted a 7-2-2 record with a 1.70 GAA, .937 SV%, and one shutout. His play would also be capped off with a call-up to the Manitoba Moose earlier today.

Milic, 21, has split his season between the Manitoba Moose and Norfolk Admirals, playing in 18 games for each team. The 2023 fifth-round draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets played the first 17 games of the season with the Moose. His other game with the Moose came in February. In 18 AHL games this season, he has a 5-10-3 record with a 3.45 GAA and .875 SV%. He spent 33 games with the Moose last season, going 19-9-2 with a 2.72 GAA, .900SV%, and one shutout. Since joining the Admirals in late January, Milic has started to find his game, going 11-5-2 with a 1.82 GAA, .935 SV%, and three shutouts. Milic went 11-3-2 with a 2.45 GAA, .908 SV%, and two shutouts in 18 games with Norfolk last season.

Prior to going pro, Milic spent parts of four seasons in the WHL with the Seattle Thunderbirds, where he went 60-23-5 with a 2.35 GAA, .917 SV%, and eight shutouts in 91 games. In his last season with the Thunderbirds, he would post a 27-3-1 record with a 2.08 GAA, .928 SV%, and eight shutouts. He would lead the WHL in GAA and SV% while also being named the Top Goaltender in the WHL. Milic led the Thunderbirds to a WHL Championship while also being named the Playoff MVP.
