The Winnipeg, MB native is a seven-season veteran in the ECHL, having spent time with seven different teams. Nault first joined the Admirals during the 2023-24 season, where he played 29 games, notching 11 goals and 17 points. This season, Nault has appeared in 15 games for the Admirals, tallying one goal and six points.
Throughout his seven-season tenure in the league, Nault has played 165 games with the Norfolk Admirals, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Kansas City Mavericks, Atlanta Gladiators, Reading Royals, Iowa Heartlanders, and the Florida Everblades. He has scored 52 goals and accumulated 99 points in his ECHL career, including a season-best 16 goals and 32 points during the 2019-20 season with Greenville.
Though not known for his point production, Nault will have a significant impact for the Steelheads on the physical side of the game. Listed at 6’2″ and 192 lbs, Nault excels in the gritty areas of the ice. Whether it’s battling in the corners to regain puck possession or making life difficult for the opposing goalie, he will do whatever it takes to be an effective player while he’s on the ice.
Nault’s physical presence and willingness to engage in the tough areas of the game make him a valuable asset to any team. His experience and dedication to the sport are evident in his consistent performance and ability to adapt to different teams and playing styles.
