ECHL Transactions: Florida Everblades 03|13|2024

The Florida Everblades signed former NHLer Josh Ho-Sang on a standard player contract.

The 28-year-old Toronto, ON native was drafted 28th overall by the New York Islanders in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He played his first professional game with the Islanders in 2016. He spent the next four seasons playing with the Islanders and various AHL teams before signing with Orebro HK in Sweden in 2020. Ho-Sang returned to the AHL in 2021, playing 47 games with the Toronto Marlies. He played for the Canadian Olympic hockey team in 2022, losing to Sweden in the quarterfinals. He scored seven goals and 17 assists in 53 games with the New York Islanders. He scored 46 goals and 112 assists in 225 games in the AHL. Ho-Sang joins a surging Everblades team that is currently third in the South Division.

The Everblades travel to play the Jacksonville Icemen on Friday. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
