ECHL Transactions: Tulsa Oilers 03|13|2024

The Tulsa Oilers added forward Matt Allen to the roster on Wednesday.

Oklahoma native Matt Allen, 23, signed his first professional contract with the Tulsa Oilers Wednesday. Allen was born just over 140 miles from Tulsa in Minco, Okla. He played for several teams as a youth, including in Amarillo and Iowa. He played for UMass-Lowell for two seasons before transferring to the University of Alaska-Anchorage. He scored 14 goals and 17 assists in 65 games in the NCAA.

The Oilers travel to Wichita, Kan., on Wednesday to play the Wichita Thunder at INTRUST Bank Arena. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
