The Trois-Rivieres Lions announced their weekly injury report earlier today. Despite the growing list of injuries, the Lions are expected to get some bodies back heading into their two-game weekend. However, the status of Israel Mianscum and Jonathan Yantsis has not changed from last week.
Who’s Back In the Lineup
Trois-Rivieres will get three key players back into the lineup as Alex Beaucage, Nicolas Guay, and Anthony Beauregard will all return to the Lions lineup:
Alex Beaucage– After missing the last four games, the Lions will get Beaucage back in the lineup. The 23-year-old center has been on an absolute tear since joining the Lions, putting up 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points in 16 games. He was also one of three players named to the ECHL All-Star Team. Beaucage will look to extend his seven-game point streak vs Norfolk Admirals.
Nicolas Guay– The 25-year-old winger will return to the lineup after missing the last five games for Trois-Rivieres. Guay, who began the season in Slovakia, has five goals and 13 assists for 18 points in 22 games.
Anthony Beauregard– The St-Damase, Quebec native is back in the lineup after missing just two games. Beauregard, who is part of the Lions leadership team, has 11 goals and 20 assists for 31 points in 33 games.
Brycen Martin Out
The Lions blueline suffers another blow as Brycen Martin will be out week-to-week with an upper-body injury. Martin,28, has played in 31 games for the Lions this season, putting up a goal and 10 assists for 11 points. Trois-Rivieres got Chris Jandric back last week after he missed four games with an illness.
