The Shrewsbury New Jersey native, Anthony Repaci of the Worcester Railers has been honored as the Warrior Hockey ECHL Player of the Month for November.
During the month, Repaci tallied 13 goals and five assists, earning 18 points in 14 games. The 30-year-old forward recorded at least one point in 10 of his games, scoring in eight of them. He posted multiple-point performances on five occasions and was named ECHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 11, after netting five goals in two games.
A native of Toronto, Repaci currently leads the ECHL with 14 goals and is tied for fourth with 21 points in 19 games this season with the Railers. Over his career, he has amassed 184 points (91 goals, 93 assists) in 227 ECHL games, playing for both Worcester and Orlando.
Before his professional career, Repaci had a standout collegiate career at St. Mary’s University, where he registered 118 points (60 goals, 58 assists) in 126 games.
With a chip on his shoulder after the Railers missed the playoffs all together late season and the Repaci himself missed serious time due to injury. The Captain is doing everything in his power to steer the team in the right direction as the Railers are still stumbling out of the gate this year. This is quite the honor for Anthony Repaci himself as well as the Worcester Railers as an organization. The Worcester Railers look to seize the moment and make the Kelly Cup Playoffs and bring the first championship in franchise history.
