The Worcester Railers are re-signing a fan favorite, Anthony Repaci. The forward, who will be entering his 30th season and has spent the last three years with the club, is welcomed back with open arms. Prior to joining the Railers, Repaci spent five seasons in USports with Saint Mary’s University, where he put up 60 goals and 58 assists for 118 points in 126 games. Repaci spent his rookie year in the ECHL with the Orlando Solar Bears, putting up 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points in 46 games. The fans and city alike are buzzing with the news the team was waiting for. The offseason has been treating the Worcester Railers well, as Repaci is the team’s first signee.

Repaci, who missed the middle chunk of the season where he was able to play in the final weekend series of the season, looks for a full season in Worcester. Even with the injury, the captain was able to be fifth on the team in points, with 31 points and 16 assists. He also maintained being the fourth skater on the team in goals with 15.

A few notes to keep on Repaci as a valued member of the team. He is the all-time leading scorer for the Railers, with 65 entering the new season. Back in January, he passed Barry Almeida for the record at 61 goals while the DCU Center had a sellout crowd of 7,094. Repaci has 162 games played for the Railers in second place, looking to pace Barry Almeida this season at 192 total games played. To add to Anthony Repaci’s accolades, he also is the franchise leader in power-play goals with 16. During the 2023-24 season, Repaci was named the sixth captain in franchise history.
