The Worcester Railers have recently signed forward Anthony Callin to help improve their squad and look to the 2024-25 season. Callin, who had a breakout year for the Railers, looks to improve and make it an even better one, and all signs point forward for Callin and the Railers.
In his rookie season, he was third on the team in points with 49. He had 35 assists and 14 goals, tied for first on the team in assists. He also played 67 games, tied for second on the team. With all ECHL rookies, he was 18th in scoring, which is an impressive feat in itself. He also had 214 shots on goal, which was second among rookies, showing he has that grit on the offensive side of the puck. Prior to joining the Railers, Callin played five seasons at Clarkson University, where he put up 34 goals and 36 assists for 70 points in 147 games.
He will compliment JD Dudek and captain Anthony Repaci very well. The triple threat should be too much for opponents defense and goaltenders to handle. The Railers struggled offensively this past season and look to right the ship. The triple threat of these three will keep the tide rolling for the club during the 2024-25 season.
As the offseason rolls on, the team will look to improve the team with current players and free agents. The Railers are just getting started. Fans and the organization should get excited about where the future is headed.
