The Worcester Railers continue to add depth to their roster, as they’ve announced the signing of rookie forward Cole Donhauser. The Kenmore, NY, native will look to add a spark to the new-look Railers team, which is undergoing some big changes this off-season with a new head coach and GM. Donhauser is the seventh signing for the Railers this off-season and the fifth forward signed to a contract for the 2024-25 season. Worcester continues to add a mix of new and familiar faces as they continue to build their roster for next season.
“I’m super excited,” Donhauser said. “Nothing but great things have been said about Worcester. The passion and the mindset of wanting to win now and having a winning culture… that’s what ultimately helped me to make my decision.”

Donhauser, who is just 24, is entering his first full professional season in North America. Last season, he began the season in the UK, playing seven games with the Coventry Blaze, putting up two assists in seven games before coming back to North America to play in the ECHL. Donhauser has played two games with the Idaho Steelheads, failing to find the scoresheet before being traded to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, where he would put up two goals and seven assists for seven points in 12 games during the regular season. Prior to going pro, he played four years at Yale, where he put up 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 80 games with the Bulldogs.
