The Worcester Railers announced that they will be signing JD Dudek for the 2024-25 season. The forward will be a nice addition to the team, which is looking to sustain a long playoff run this season.

In addition to the team signing long-time Railers forward Anthony Repaci, JD Dudek looks to be an amazing addition. Dudek is in the midst of his sixth professional hockey season after being drafted in the sixth round of the 2014 NHL Draft. The forward has spent time previously with the Railers, and his experience with the team should be an added help. He played with them during the 2019-2020 and 2021-22 seasons, respectively. He was able to total twelve points in his time with the club. He had two goals and 10 assists in 28 games played. The 28-year-old winger also spent 42 games with the Allen Americans during the 2021-22 season, where he put up 10 goals and five assists for 15 points.

He split time overseas between 2020-2024. He mainly played in Sweden in the EIHL. He played 107 total games overseas. He scored an impressive 51 points. This split out over 30 goals and 21 assists, becoming a major asset for the team.

The Railers will be a team to contend for the Kelly Cup. Hockey fans will look back and see the signing of JD Dudek as a major part to the club. The Railers are going big or going home, as their season has ended in heartbreaking fashion the past few years without a playoff berth.
