It’s been a while since we have seen the Worcester Railers make a move, as they have traded forward Zach White to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits for future considerations. The future considerations acquired by the Railers come from a deal that Greenville made previously with the Fort Wayne Komets. White was a staple in the Worcester Railers line, especially during the 2023-24 season. White was able to play a total of 55 games this past season and score 22 points in that time. He split that with 12 goals and ten assists.
Zach White came over in 2023 from the Iowa Heartlanders in the summer. Prior to coming to Worcester, White led the Heartlanders in points. He had 40 points in 71 games as he put up 20 goals and 20 assists. In White’s ECHL career he played 178 games putting up 113 points and he looks to add on and improve with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
The Greenville Swamp Rabbits have a good one in Zach White. He will surely be missed in Worcester, however the team has been making moves to ensure their contention. The Greenville Swamp Rabbits finished last season with a 44-23-6-1 record, which was good enough for second in the conference. Zach White will be a welcomed addition to their roster. Greenville traded for White to be the player he was in Worcester as well as Iowa. With the season a little over a month away, final rosters are being constructed to help each team’s chances during the 2024-25 season.
